Bergamo, Italy
This monumental cemetery, built between 1896 and 1913 has a so-called eclectic style and namely incorporates a mixture of elements from previous historical styles to create something and original. It has an oldest part (to the left of the main entrance) but it gives the idea of many old graves to be excavated to leave room for new ones, making monumental expectations almost unfulfilled. No vaults, just modern underground burials, but a very nice evangelical side Pretty and well cared after, it is worth a visit if you are in town.
