Pavia Monumental Cemetery

Dating back to the end of 18th century and built on the ashes of the simple one when the City of Pavia got the need of a wider burial ground, used for about a hundred years . Very worth a vist both overground and underground,it has arcades running all along the cemetery perimeter. BEWARE THE HUNGRY MOSQUITOS!
