Officially opened in 1829 it is a wide, diversified burial ground and final resting place to many notables and celebrities .
So beautiful and breathtaking to be called “open air museum”. Member of ASCE (Association of Significant Cemeteries in Europe) . Absolutely worth a visit, but shooting possible only on Mondays (except religious holidays) upon request of a regular permission to be asked in advance at the Cemetery Bureau (you can get format here)
