Roberta Wilde © Art in Death 2015
Milano, Italy
It dates back to the early 1800 and it’s really worth a visit even if you’re not necessarily involved with taphophilia or cemetery pictures. It really deserved the ephitet of “open air museum”. Photographing is free (provided you don’t use tripod) and this makes a cemetery walker very happy. Styles go from liberty, and art nouveau to neo classical passing through gothic and modern. Pity the day I visited was too bright and it made sometimes difficult to shot a nice picture or the underground passages too dark to take clear ones, but I’ve decided to keep all the ones I took for a wonderful memory
